Upcoming Trips

 April 18th 2010- May 10th 2010

Come along with Philippine Shells & Tours for the shelling trip of a lifetime and meet the smiling people of the Philippines. This trip is for the SERIOUS sheller! We will visit the beautiful islands of Camotes and Siquijor and finish up in Mactan. As we all know, the Philippine Islands is “Mecca” for shell collecting. We will take large pump boats to the outer islets to snorkel and dive the coral reefs and wade amongst the tide pools. We will also go shelling in the rivers and waterfalls. We will meet the local fisherman who catch shells in their tangle nets and also bargain with the shell divers and the numerous shell dealers in the villages. We will also visit the home of shell dealer, Vic and Marietta Dungog our COA friends. We have a great group of guides that will also help you collect shells.

Our accommodations will be cozy Nipa style cottages that are located on the beach. The resorts all have restaurant facilities on the grounds. If you want to take a day off from shelling, feel free to lounge around the resort and relax or go into town and experience the open air wet markets, do some shopping, hit the Internet Cafe or mingle with the local people and the children, it will be an enjoyable event that you won’t forget. The Filipinos of the Visayan Islands are extremely friendly and more than willing to test their English skills with you. This trip will be relaxing but yet extensive and on the go. We will be there to go shelling so a shelling we will go!
Shell on! ~Mark~
